What we collect through this website, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. Effective August 2026.
This explains what happens to information you share with beachglo.com, the public website for Beach Glo Medspa & Wellness. It covers this website only. Your medical record, and anything you tell a provider during care, is protected separately under HIPAA and our practice's privacy notice.
Not much, and no health information. This website does not host patient intake forms or medical questionnaires. When you click to book, you leave this site and land in MyAestheticRecord, our HIPAA-compliant booking platform, where anything you enter is handled under that platform's terms and our obligations as a medical provider.
If you send us a message through a contact form or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include, usually your name, phone number, email address, and the reason you are reaching out. We use it to answer you. Please do not send detailed medical information through a website form or ordinary email, because neither is a secure channel. Call us or use the patient platform instead.
We use standard analytics, like most websites, to understand how the site gets used: which pages people read, how they arrived, what device they are on, and roughly what region they are in. It comes back to us in aggregate. We use it to make the site more useful, not to identify individual visitors. Analytics tools set cookies or similar identifiers to do this, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do.
To respond to you, to schedule and confirm appointments, to improve the website, and to meet our legal and professional obligations. That is the whole list.
We do not sell, rent, or trade information collected through this website, and we do not hand it to advertisers for their own purposes. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate the practice (our website host, our booking platform, our analytics provider), and only so they can do that work for us.
This website links out to places we do not control, including our booking platform and the Florida Department of Health license lookup we reference on our medical director page. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site under someone else's policy. Read theirs.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is completely secure, which is why we route anything clinical through the patient platform rather than through this site.
If we update this policy we will change the effective date, and we will note meaningful changes on this page.
