Most of what you have read about hormones, GLP-1s, and injectables came from somewhere with something to sell. We write to give you the version we would give a friend.
We spend the first part of every appointment listening, and the same questions keep coming up. Is this drug safe. Why does one clinic push pellets and another push creams. Who is allowed by law to hold the needle. Those are good questions, and the marketing on either side does not answer them.
So we write them down. Every article here is written to answer the question in its title. Farah Kalnoky, PA-C reviews each one, our medical director Achilles Kalnoky, MD stands behind the clinical content, and every page carries the date we last reviewed it.
We also try to be honest about limits. Where the evidence is thin, we say so, and we name who a treatment is wrong for. If an article does not have a real answer yet, we would rather write that than fill the space.
New articles publish regularly. Start with these four.
Longer, comparison-style answers to the questions we field most often.
Two delivery methods, two different sets of trade-offs, and how we decide between them.
