Peptide therapy, held to a medical standard.

Peptides are having a moment, and most of what is sold online skips the medicine entirely. At Beach Glo, peptide therapy starts with labs, runs under physician supervision, and uses only professionally sourced, regulation-compliant products. If a peptide does not meet that bar, we do not offer it.

Physician-owned & on-site · Certified peptide therapy provider
The short answer

Peptide therapy in Sarasota, done properly, is a physician-supervised treatment that uses short chains of amino acids to support goals like metabolic health, recovery, and healthy aging. At Beach Glo, every protocol is prescribed by a certified provider after bloodwork, sourced through professional compounding pharmacies, and monitored over time.

What peptides actually are

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in your body. Your body already makes thousands of them; they help regulate metabolism, appetite, tissue repair, sleep, and hormone release. Peptide therapy uses specific, lab-made versions of these signals to support a defined clinical goal.

You have probably already heard of the most famous peptides without realizing it: semaglutide and tirzepatide, the medications behind modern medical weight loss, are peptides. The category is real medicine. The problem is that it is also a gold rush, and much of what is sold online comes from unregulated sources with no exam, no labs, and no supervision.

Our standard: evidence first, or we say no

Beach Glo is a physician-owned practice, and our medical director holds peptide protocols to the same standard as any other prescription. That means three things in practice:

  • Regulatory compliance over trends. We offer peptides that meet FDA compliance standards, sourced through professional compounding pharmacies we have vetted. When a new peptide gets popular before it gets approved, we wait. We would rather tell you "not yet" than prescribe ahead of the evidence.
  • Labs before prescriptions. Your protocol starts with bloodwork, not a checkout page. We measure first, treat second, and re-test to confirm it is working.
  • A named, verifiable physician behind every protocol. Dr. Kalnoky, MD is on site, and his Florida license is public record you can verify yourself.

If you have seen peptide websites that ship vials to your door with a questionnaire and no follow-up, that is the model we built this program against.

What patients use peptide therapy for

Peptide protocols at Beach Glo are individualized, but the common goals we see are:

  • Metabolic health and weight, often alongside our medical weight loss program
  • Energy and recovery, for patients who feel like their baseline has slipped
  • Sleep quality and the downstream effects better sleep has on everything else
  • Healthy aging, as part of an integrated plan with hormone optimization

What we will not do is promise a specific outcome. Results vary from person to person, and any clinic that guarantees them is telling you something about their standards.

How it works at Beach Glo

01Consult and labs

We start with your history, your goals, and baseline bloodwork.

02A protocol built for you

Your provider walks you through the evidence for each option, including what we do not recommend and why.

03Monitored treatment

Follow-ups and repeat labs confirm the protocol is doing what it should, and we adjust when it is not.

Who peptide therapy is for, honestly

Often a good fit

  • Adults with metabolic, energy, recovery, or sleep goals who want a measured, monitored approach
  • Patients already doing hormone or weight loss treatment who want an integrated plan
  • People who have been tempted by online peptide vendors and want the medical version instead

Not a fit

  • Anyone looking for a specific peptide that lacks regulatory approval; we will not prescribe it
  • Patients who are pregnant or nursing
  • Anyone with an active cancer diagnosis or certain chronic conditions; your consult and labs screen for these
  • Anyone unwilling to do bloodwork; we do not prescribe blind

Contraindications are reviewed individually at your consult. If peptide therapy is not appropriate for you, we will say so and point you toward what is.

Questions

Peptide therapy, answered plainly.

Is peptide therapy safe?

Generally well tolerated when it is done as medicine: prescribed by a licensed provider after an evaluation and labs, sourced from a professional compounding pharmacy, and monitored over time. Safety depends heavily on who prescribes it and where it comes from. That is the difference between a supervised program and a vial in the mail.

Which peptides do you offer?

Only those that meet our medical director's bar for regulatory compliance and clinical evidence. The FDA's guidance on individual peptides changes, so we review our protocols against current regulations rather than publishing a fixed list that goes stale. Your consult covers exactly what is available and appropriate for you.

Do I need labs first?

Yes. Baseline bloodwork before prescribing, repeat labs to confirm progress. If a peptide program does not ask for labs, it is a store, not a medical practice.

How long until I notice something?

It depends on the peptide and the goal. Sleep and recovery changes can show up within weeks; metabolic goals are measured over months. Your provider sets honest expectations at your consult, and results vary from person to person.

Can I combine peptides with hormone therapy or weight loss treatment?

Often, yes, and that is where an integrated practice helps. Your provider sees the whole picture: your hormones, your weight loss plan, and your peptide protocol in one chart, instead of three vendors who have never spoken to each other.
