Feeling like yourself again starts here.

Most people who come to us for hormones have already been told their labs are "normal." Normal for a population is not the same as right for you. We run a comprehensive panel, read it next to your actual symptoms, and treat the person and the numbers together. Labs first, evidence always.

Physician-owned & on-site · Bioidentical pellets for women and men
The short answer

Bioidentical hormone therapy in Sarasota at Beach Glo starts with comprehensive labs, not a prescription. We use hormones structurally identical to the ones your body makes, delivered through pellets, creams, or other routes depending on what fits you, and we monitor with repeat labs. Women and men both.

What actually brings people in

Almost nobody books a hormone consult because of a lab value. They book because something has been off for a while and it has stopped being ignorable.

For women that usually sounds like: exhausted no matter how much you sleep, awake at 3 a.m. for no reason, a shorter fuse than you recognize, weight settling where it never used to, a libido that quietly left, and brain fog that makes familiar words go missing mid-sentence. For men it is flatter: energy gone, drive gone, workouts that stopped producing anything.

These are not personality changes and they are not simply aging. They are what a hormone system out of range feels like from the inside.

Why labs come first

We do not prescribe hormones on symptoms alone, and we do not treat a lab result while ignoring the person attached to it. Both halves matter.

Your evaluation includes a comprehensive hormone panel along with thyroid and metabolic markers, because those systems pull on each other. Then we sit down and go through it. You should leave knowing what each number means, what it does not mean, and why we are recommending what we are. If your symptoms point somewhere other than hormones, the labs usually show that too, and we will tell you.

Bioidentical pellets and the EvexiPEL method

Bioidentical means the hormone is structurally identical to what your body already produces. Pellets are a delivery method: a small pellet placed just under the skin during a brief in-office visit, releasing a steady dose over the following months.

The appeal is consistency. Creams and gels can produce daily peaks and dips, and they depend on remembering to use them correctly. A pellet takes the daily decision out of it. Farah places pellets using the EvexiPEL method, and the insertion itself is quick.

"I am on the road to feeling like myself again."

"I have had pellets done in another spa and this experience was way better! Painless, and the recovery was excellent. I am on the road to feeling like myself again!"

Why consistency matters Week 1 Month 4 Hormone level Pellet: steady release Daily dosing: peaks and dips
Simplified illustration, not patient data. Pellets release gradually over months; daily routes rise and fall with each dose. Your labs decide which fits you.

Pellets are not the only option, and we will not pretend otherwise. Creams, patches, injections, and oral routes all have their place, and for some patients they are the better starting point. If you want the honest comparison, we wrote one: hormone pellets versus creams.

Women's care and men's care, both

For women, hormone therapy often overlaps with the perimenopause and menopause transition, which deserves more room than a paragraph. That has its own page: menopause and perimenopause care, including how we handle whether to use hormones at all.

For men, low testosterone is common, underdiagnosed, and frequently dismissed as stress or age. The process is identical: comprehensive labs, a full history, options reviewed together, and monitoring over time rather than a prescription and a wave goodbye.

Hormones sit upstream of everything else

Thyroid and sex hormones shape how your body handles fuel, which is why a stalled weight loss program sometimes turns out to be a hormone problem. Sleep, recovery, and body composition run through the same system, which is where peptide therapy fits alongside.

Here those live in one chart, with Dr. Kalnoky, MD on site. Nobody is guessing what someone else prescribed you.

Who hormone therapy is for, honestly

Often a good fit

  • Women in perimenopause or menopause with symptoms affecting daily life
  • Men with low energy, low drive, and difficulty maintaining muscle
  • Anyone told their labs are "normal" who still does not feel right
  • Patients who want treatment monitored with repeat labs

Not a fit, or needs coordination first

  • Anyone pregnant, nursing, or trying to conceive
  • A history of breast, uterine, or prostate cancer, which requires coordination with your oncology team first
  • A history of blood clots, stroke, or certain cardiac conditions, reviewed case by case
  • Undiagnosed abnormal bleeding, which needs a workup first
  • Anyone unwilling to do labs, because we do not prescribe hormones blind

We screen with labs and a full history at your consult. If hormone therapy is not right for you, or not right yet, we will say so and tell you what we would do instead. Results vary from person to person.

Questions

Hormone therapy, answered plainly.

How long until I feel different?

It depends on the symptom. Sleep and hot flashes usually move first, sometimes within a few weeks. Energy and mood tend to follow over the next month or two. Libido, body composition, and mental clarity are measured in months. Results vary from person to person, which is why we re-check labs.

How often do pellets need to be re-inserted?

Typically every few months. The exact interval is guided by your labs and by how you feel toward the end of a cycle, not by a fixed schedule. Metabolism, activity, and dose all change how long a pellet lasts.

Do you treat men too?

Yes. Men are a meaningful part of our hormone practice, usually arriving with flat energy, lost drive, and difficulty holding muscle. Same process: comprehensive labs, full history, options reviewed together, monitoring over time.

Is BHRT safe?

Hormone therapy carries real benefits and real risks, and both depend on your age, your history, which hormone, which route, and what dose. That makes it a decision to reach individually with a provider looking at your labs, not a yes or no that applies to everyone. We screen, review your picture with you, and monitor over time.

What labs do you run?

A comprehensive hormone panel plus thyroid and metabolic markers, because those systems move together. We go through the results with you rather than emailing a PDF. To compare delivery methods before your visit, start with pellets versus creams.
